Job Description:Job Description Our client in the Southeast is hiring a Shipper/Receiver (Lead Hand) to join their team! Work Environment:SE Calgary - Produce Warehouse(Fast-paced, COLD temperature, operating forklift to move pallets of fruits/vegetables, driving for the full duration of your shift, repetitive work)Task:Work is done while operating a sit-down counterbalance forklift, you will be moving pallets of fresh fruits safely in the warehouse ensuring you meet the deadlines to keep the produce fresh.Rate:PAID WEEKLY every FRIDAYNote: This is a Temporary to Permanent position based on your performanceRequired:Safety boots, transportation to get to work, a positive attitude, at least 2 years of experience driving a sit-down counterbalance forklift, and experience leading a team is a must!Please note that this is an invitation to apply. Advantages:Competitive pay at $ 21-$23/hour, paid weekly every FridayFull-time, temporary to permanent role (based on your performance)Accessible location on Calgary Transit routesPositive working environment with a friendly team Duties and Responsibilities:Experience managing a team of shippers/receiversOperate sit-down counterbalance forklift for moving, storage, or removal of materialsPrepare products and materials for shipmentLoad, unload, and stage products and materialsInventory scanning using RF scanners and reportingTrack and record units of materials handledAdhere to safety policies and procedures Qualifications:You will need at least 2 years of experience operating sit-down counterbalance – certification/license is an assetMust possess a minimum of two years of experience in a leadership capacity, overseeing teams.Experience using pallet jacks, forklifts, and other industrial equipment is an assetYou must be able and willing to lift up to 50lb on a daily basisAble to complete repetitive tasks without losing concentrationA positive attitude and good attention to detailStrong work ethic Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, Permanent Job ID: 42506159
