ANTIQUE PRESSED GLASS COMPOTE AND 12 BERRY BOWLS FROM 1908

This gorgeous antique Early American Pressed Glass (EAPG) compote and 12 small berry bowls were manufactured by the United States Glass Co. in Pittsburgh, PA in 1908. The pattern is No. 15116 Solar, aka Feather Swirl. Heavy cut crystal/glass featuring “feather” swirls. Unique saw tooth edge. Starburst on the bottom. Great textures. Great antique condition – no chips, cracks, or repairs. Pressed glass lines and air bubbles from the manufacturing process. This is the larger compote; measuring 8.75” in diameter and 8.75” high, including the pedestal base. The berry bowls are 4” in diameter. This striking set would make a wonderful addition to any glass collection. They don’t make them like this anymore! Smoke free, pet free home.
