ANTIQUE PRESSED GLASS COMPOTE BY NOVA SCOTIA GLASS COMPANY

A great EAPG (Early American Pressed Glass) piece! The pattern is called CENTENNIAL. It was manufactured by Nova Scotia Glass Company (Trenton-Nova Scotia. The manufacture date is unknown, however the company only operated from 1881-1890. This High Open Compote measures 7" high and 8" in diameter. Note that the glass has turned slightly in colour from the manganese that was used in the manufacturing process. It is in great condition – no chips, cracks, or other damage.
