ANTIQUE TRUMPET VASE (AKA SHELF SUPPORT) FROM 1899

This unique piece of Early American Pressed Glass (EAPG) was manufactured by the United States Glass Co. in Pittsburgh, PA, in 1899. The pattern is No. 15061 New York, aka US Rib. It is sometimes called a Trumpet Window Vase (also referred to as shelf support). The vase is 12.25” high, 5.25” in diameter at the top and 4” in diameter at the base. The top and bottom base were made wide to support shelves and distribute weight in general store displays. It’s in wonderful condition – no chips, cracks, or any other damage.
