Description

Hey all! We are Bedtracks and are looking for a multi instrumentalist (Bass / Guitar) to join our band! The rundown is that we have a Bass player already, however he has moved and will be unable to play with us as much as we would like. This is where YOU could come in! Optimally, we would like to find somebody that can play the bass for our shows, and for the shows that he is available, you could switch to rhythm guitar. If this sounds like a challenge, don’t worry - both our rhythm guitar and bass lines aren’t (especially) difficult. It is also important to us for you to feel like your a member of the band, and not just a fill in; as such we are also willing to work something out that allows things to be more flexible on your behalf. Below is a little about ourselves, in order of the photos! My names Tegan, I’m 23 years old and am looking for experienced, likeminded musicians! I have over 10 years of experience on guitar, and bass, lead vocals as well as being an intermediate on the drums. I have lots of experience on recording, mixing music and am confident in my fronting abilities when performing live. I would like to find people that share similar ambitions and tastes in music - some of my inspirations are Arctic Monkeys, The Strokes, Mac Demarco, lots of Classic rock, Alternative - generic red flag music etc but expands further into other genres. For gear, I use a ‘68 Custom Fender Twin Reverb with a BOSS ME-80 and have an sE v7 for vox. Hi I’m Michael, i am 29 years old. Im the drummer for Bedtracks after joining 2.5 years ago. Originally from the UK where i played drums previously in a band for around 5 years and have a lot of experience playing live shows. My influences are based heavily around the UK indie rock scene from the likes of Arctic Monkeys, Foals, Kasabian but also 90’s grunge and classic rock too. Looking for someone to join the band with similar genre interests and an energetic personality that will shine through when playing live and also writing new music. Hey, I am Yogesh, 27 years old. Currently play lead guitar, have some limited experience on bass. Looking for somebody to share our passion for music and performing. Seek to create guitar parts that complement our sound. For gear I typically user a Fender Strat through a Vox AC15, usually chorus clean tones or overdriven. We have our own rehearsal space (dads basement) that has a makeshift studio that allows us to record. Nothing too fancy, but gets the job done. Our lead singer has experience in mixing and recording (over 5yrs) - this is where we have recorded both EPs and all singles. Nothing that is of high tech outstanding quality that you could find with an actual audio engineer in a professional setting, but gets the job done. It’s also convenient that we don’t have to spend hundreds of dollars just to release our music, however it is something we plan on doing in the future. Further below, you can hear our songs that have all been written in our makeshift stu (the thunderdome™️) We do ask that all inquiries are from musicians with either stage experience and if not, are confident in their stage presence so as to put on the most entertaining, musical show we can. Interested? Message us either here or on Instagram @bedtracksband to get into contact! If messaging us through Instagram, please send a video / clip of a prior performance or a snippet of you playing if at all possible! Cheers, look forward to talking to you!
