Hi! We’re Astrology Girl, an Emo band with post hardcore, screamo, and mathcore influence. Some bands we sound like include Taking Back Sunday, Oso Oso, Brand New, and Alexisonfire.
We’re looking to add a second guitarist to our group to enhance the live sound and ideally inject some new sounds into our creative process!
Our lineup consists of members in a Lethbridge and one member in Calgary, so our ideal candidate would live in or around these locations.
Things we’d consider an asset:
- Live experience
- songwriting ability
- communication skills
- mobile (not required but certainly helpful!)
And some non negotiables:
-must have own gear
-must be willing to commit an evening or two out of each week to practice/other activities
- must be able to play shows around Alberta on a regular basis (mostly weekends)
- must be generally chill and lgbtq+ friendly (we are queer!)
