Description

We are looking for the right home for our boy. With over 60 different words, sounds and fun sounds he's sure to keep you entertained. Will step up on almost anyone but is more affectionate and petable with females. Easy to feed from your hand and we have always taking him outside when it's sunny and he hasn't flown away. Wings are unclippled. The standard mccaw screech will drop to less than a handful of times per week as long as he's in the room where everyone is and gets to be around people. Doesn't like water which was very helpful in training bad behavior out of him. Spray bottle when he screeches is effective and he doesn't hold a grudge which is rare with parrots but attention fixes all problems. His feathers are perfect he just finished his Molt. I've gone as far as running machinery in the shop with him on my shoulder so his tolerance is better than most. We have cats doesn't seem to mind them at all. Says hello and peekaboo hi baby, who's a good girl ,makes kissing noises alot and talks in many voices. Whistles sings too. Squaks Like our chickens, meows at our cats. Most of his vocabulary he just says when he feels like. We have a 1000 dollar cage we will include aswell. Sometimes we lock him up , more so when he's eating so he doesn't make a mess but typically he hangs out on his cage all day. Looking for someone that knows the attention big birds need, isn't afraid of them and has a home that's not chaotic. These birds environment is important, the crazier your space the crazier a bird can get. If your clean, calm and friendly. So is the bird. With large groups of people in the home do not handle the bird. Thats the only time we seen him act up . Have papers birth certificate etc. If your serious and have been seriously looking please reach out.
