My loving St.Albert day home, which is located in Deer Ridge, has two full-time openings for a friend aged 12 months to 4 years old ,to join us starting May, 2024.
I am very conveniently located across from Muriel Martin Elementary, and right around the corner from Villenuve Road.
My operating hours are 6:45am-5:30pm. Arrangements can be made if later pickups or earlier drop offs are needed.
I have reasonable rates which cover breakfast, lunches, and healthy snacks throughout the day. The menu is easily altered for any allergies or special diets, and milk is also provided.
My name is Lisa and I have over 40 years of experience in the child care industry, both personally and professionally.
I have worked as a private nanny, in daycares, worked with special needs children, operated my own dayhome in St.Albert and raised 3 wonderful children who are now raising families of their own.
Aside from my on hands training (so to speak) I have my Level 2 ECD from Grant McEwan University, CPR and Infant First Aid Certification. I have a recent Police Vulnerable Sectors check.
I have also done a great deal of volunteer work with all ages of children in the past.
I have a smoke free home and 2 dogs who are very gentle and do not go into the childrens care area.
I keep my attendance low (6 children maximum at a time) so all children in my care have more one on one time with me. Since all of my kids are grown and no longer at home, all of my time and attention is spent on the kids in my care. If you are looking for a home away from home , in a loving home environment for your little ones, then this would be the place for you.
During the course of the day we have fun learning all about colours, numbers and letters, shapes and animals, friendship and and sharing as well as manners and basic social skills through song and play.
I potty train along with your at home cooperation and have much experience assisting with sleep training. I have no problems using cloth diapers for your babe if that is your preference.
