#21 - WRITTEN BY BILL WILLINGHAM; ART BY MARK BUCKINGHAM AND STEVE LEIALOHA; PAINTED COVER BY JAMES JEAN. When the going gets tough, Fables go drinking. "Stop Me if You've Heard This, but a Man Walks Into a Bar..." takes place almost entirely in pubs ? Mundy bars, Fabletown bars, and just about anyplace where alcohol is served. So don't be surprised if a drunken brawl breaks out, and one or two characters says something he wouldn't normally say while sober. MATURE READERS. #22 - WRITTEN BY BILL WILLINGHAM; ART BY TONY AIKENS AND JIMMY PALMIOTTI; PAINTED COVER BY JAMES JEAN In this interlude issue, featuring guest-art by Tony Aikens and Jimmy Palmiotti, the members of the "Ex-wives Club" of fairytale philanderer Prince Charming reminisce about the Prince of Lies. But blonde bombshell Cinderella has another appointment, in Paris, and it's one she's dying to keep. Sex, espionage and betrayal abound ? especially when someone loses his head. #25 - WRITTEN BY BILL WILLINGHAM; ART BY MARK BUCKINGHAM AND STEVE LEIALOHA; PAINTED COVER BY JAMES JEAN. In the penultimate issue of "March of the Wooden Soliders," Bigby arrives at the farm in upstate New York only to be greeted gun-first by an army of wooden soldiers. Meanwhile, back in Manhattan, the fate of Fabletown hangs in the balance as a very pregnant Snow White encounters a nasty surprise of her own. MATURE READERS. #67 - Written by Bill Willingham Art by Mark Buckingham & Steve Leialoha Cover by James Jean The Emperor and his minions can't stand the fact that the new kingdom of Haven exists in the very heart of his empire, a treasonous signal to anyone that his power isn't as absolute as he claims. So he sends his vast and deadly armies against it, to wipe all trace of it from the face of the earth, as 'The Good Prince' continues. #70 - Written by Bill Willingham Art by Niko Henrichon Cover by James Jean Guest art by the Eisner-nominated Niko Henrichon (PRIDE OF BAGHDAD)! Before his final battle, King Ambrose, also known as Flycatcher, invited all of the Animal Fables currently trapped on The Farm to move back to their lost Homelands by coming to live in his kingdom of Haven. Boy Blue, determined to fulfill Fly's last command, brings the news to the Farm - which starts a debate among the Farm Fables. Will they remain imprisoned at the Farm - keeping in mind that it's a very comfortable prison - or will they journey back to the Homelands to take up residence in Haven? Book Value is $18 US.
