Monarch (Rex) is a 12 year old, 18h Clydesdale. He is very well mannered and eager to please. Rex has been schooled to first level dressage and has had 18 months of vaulting training. He loads into a trailer, clips, baths, ties, and has done well traveling to shows. He is happy in his paddock with a buddy or on his own. He has been calm and gentle with young kids and has been a barn favorite.
Rex requires a light working home as we have recently discovered a history of founder from his previous home. X-rays are available upon request for serious inquiries. He is currently shod on his front and on low maintenance. Rex has maintained soundness with light work. He is not suitable to continue his vaulting career and needs a home with light riding. He may be suitable for a therapeutic vaulting program doing primarily walk. His price reflects this. Open to offers for the right home.
