ARIA PRO II XR-series

Français et or English This guitar was bought by myself over 30 years ago, in a Verdun music store that is long gone by now. As a bass player, I just wanted a guitar and thought this one was perfect back then but I barely used it. Last year I decided to upgrade/refurb it to sell it off, so here I go! First, I added a brand new Floyd Rose, because the original design it had ( can’t remember the brand) was a cheaper concept and made it very hard to tune. A compremise had to be made, as the Floyd Rose took more inner space. You can dive bomb but can’t pull back. Also, it needed to be drilled in a higher than the original position of cheap one (see pics to view the old holes), that the luthier said would work without taking wood out, so I accepted and I like it. Electronics are cleaned out. Job done by Steve’s music guit tech. (Billy does great work) The guitar only has one paint chip as shown in pic. Headstock as very minor ding/scratch, you have to touch to really notice. The back has mainly belt buckle marks. In all the esthetics are very nice for the age. These were the last years for the times, of very good quality ARIA guitars. I used to own a Les Paul Aria Pro and they really made them to compete any high end guitars!
