The primary responsibility of the PCA is to provide quality, ongoing care in a private residence. Duties and responsibilities would include, but not limited to aiding a disabled individual , housekeeping, and a variety of tasks associated with the individual's personal interests. Nursing rotation.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in home care or a related field is preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects and assist with transfers (e.g., from bed to wheelchair)
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
