For sale is an antique Governor Winthrop drop down secretary desk with display cabinet (circa 1930). This fine piece is constructed from solid mahogany wood, resting on two front ball and claw feet. Bookcase features two glass doors (original glass enhanced by a lovely wood pattern; glass has no cracks, breaks, or repairs), with two interior wood shelves to display your favorite treasures. The top crown is prominent and bold, adding beauty to the overall presentation of the piece. Three serpentine dovetailed drawers with original batwing pulls provide storage space for items of choice. The drop front opens down to display a spacious surface area along with a series of small cubbies (9 in total) and compartment. Original skeleton key (for the display cabinet portion) is included.
