Andrew offers one-on-one private guitar instruction for people ages 6+ of all skill levels. Everyone is welcome, whether you are struggling with open chords/barre chords, soloing over chord changes, or techniques such as sweep picking. Learn your favourite songs or how each composition works to enrich your understanding of the guitar and music in general.
Andrew is an experienced tutor/volunteer for university students in Edmonton with almost seven years of experience playing guitar. He is a student at MacEwan University in Edmonton, Alberta, majoring in guitar performance, where he has learned the intricacies of jazz, pop, and everything in between. With Andrew, you can look forward to learning pop, rock, jazz, funk, R&B, metal, or anything you fancy.
You can learn to read music, analyze songs, elevate your understanding of music theory, or have fun with the instrument. Andrew’s top priority is ensuring students have fun and stay passionate about the instrument.
Lessons are in-home, or you can travel to Andrew’s home if you prefer. He is offering lessons in NW Calgary. If you live in other areas of Calgary, you can still contact Andrew for lessons, but the rates may be slightly higher depending on where you live.
Rates:
30-minute lesson: $25
60-minute lesson: $45
90-minute and 2-hour lessons are available upon request as well.
Package deals are also available.
Policies:
Cancellation policy is 24 hours before the scheduled lesson time unless there is a good reason.
Keep it cordial; don’t be rambunctious.
