Offering private, 1 on 1 guitar lessons. Beginner concepts like chords, melodies, riffs, and songs, up to more intermediate and advanced concepts like soloing, harmony, and specific techniques from many different genres. The focus of lessons is to make it enjoyable and to learn material you connect with and enjoy, while also building a musical foundation and deepening an understanding of music and the guitar.
Linden has been playing guitar since he was 7, and in that time, he has explored many different styles and genres such as blues, rock, jazz, country/folk, ska/reggae, funk, and techniques like slide guitar, Travis picking, soloing/improvising, and he bring a deep knowledge of music theory and music history. Linden is a recording and gigging musician who plays with local acts like The Marcus Trummer Band, Tendavillage, and Kinjo & Young at venues such as The Ironwood, and The Bluescan, as well as festivals like Lilac Fest, and Calgary Blues Fest.
Linden teaches from his home in Calgary, and can do either 1hr lessons for $50, or 30min lessons for $25, depending on preference.
