Individualized Drum & Piano Lessons

Hi there! My name is Tim Neilson, and I'm a professional musician and music teacher based in Edmonton. With a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Drumset Performance from MacEwan University and Grade 10 RCM Piano, I specialize in teaching drumset, classical piano, and music theory. In my lessons, I seek to understand my student's individual needs and create an approach that helps them succeed, while keeping lessons engaging and fun. Lessons are taught in my bright, clean, and professionally equipped home teaching studio in East Edmonton. The drum studio features two drum sets, and the piano studio features a beautiful acoustic grand piano. In addition to in-person lessons, I also offer Zoom lessons for those who need the convenience of a virtual or hybrid approach.
