Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Assistant. As an Assistant, you will provide administrative support and assist with various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our office.
Responsibilities: - Greet and assist visitors, clients, and employees - Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate person or department - Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate records - Assist with proofreading documents for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors - Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary - Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages - Provide general clerical support such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents - Assist with scheduling appointments and managing calendars - Conduct basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks software - Perform other administrative duties as assigned
Skills: - Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Proficient in data entry and maintaining accurate records - Excellent attention to detail for proofreading documents - Knowledge of office procedures and clerical tasks - Familiarity with using QuickBooks for basic bookkeeping tasks - Ability to type accurately and efficiently - Professional phone etiquette when handling calls - Proficiency in using Google Suite applications (Docs, Sheets, Gmail)

Salary: From $28,39per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
