House of Mercy International Church, Lethbridge is looking to hire a musical director to supervise and coordinate the music delivered by our Praise Team.
Our Praise Team comprises three dedicated team members and we are open to expanding it.
The church service is every Sunday from 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM. Our Praise Team meets at 10:00 AM every Sunday for quick rehearsals before service starts at 10:30 AM.
Your role as a music director includes the following:
1. organize, lead, and coordinate our Praise Team.
2. be the face of the music department of the church in the community
3. organize music, praise & worship events of the church
4. uphold the vision and mission of House of Mercy Int'l Church
5. Abide by the operations of the church
6. participate in church programs and lead the music aspects of every program.
Your qualifications should include:
1. Open to the Christian way of worship
2. Knowledgeable or willing to learn Christian praise & worship songs
3. Ability to play any musical instruments
4. Reliable and dependable every Sunday for music delivery during church service, and occasional weekly programs - not every week only when there is an event during the week
5. team player and possessing leadership skills.
6. passion for music and willingness to thrive in a multicultural and diverse environment
Wage: hourly rate (negotiable)
