Photography Lessons

Lessons can now be done live online over Zoom video conferencing or in person.

Hi, my name is Steven Li and I am a local professional full-time photographer at Steven Li Studio. I offer private one-on-one or small group photography lesson and class for anyone that wants to learn how to take better pictures. Learning from a professional is much faster then spending endless hours figuring it out from YouTube, books or figuring it out on your own.

The lessons normally would be held at my studio, local coffee shop or at the comfort of your home but with social distancing we can do them online over Zoom.

I have experience with all types of photography including travel, landscape, wedding, family, lifestyle, real estate, food, product and studio photography. So there is a lot I can teach you depending on what you're looking to learn.

PHOTOGRAPHY 101 (3H) For the beginners who want to learn how to use their camera and learn to shoot in manual I offer a 3 hour intro to photography class which includes: - Understanding camera equipment - Understanding your camera and what all the buttons do - Fundamentals of a DSLR (aperture, shutter speed, ISO) - How to shoot in MANUAL!!

EXTRA (2H) - Composition: How to set up your shots to make them look good - Going out into the real world to practice what you learned

PHOTOGRAPHY 201 (8H) - Everything in photography 101 - Composition - Practice in the real world - Photo editing with Lightroom - Lesson on a specific type of photography (like night, landscape, portrait, food, studio etc)

My rates my photography lessons excluding business lessons are: One student - $50/hour Two students - $30/hour (per student) Three or more students - $25/hour (per student)

Add $50 if travel is required
