Job Description:Job Description ROLE: Instrumentation Technician and Inside/outside Sales and Support Are you an experienced Instrumentation Technician seeking a permanent role with the opportunity to grow your career with a company that is committed to the same? What would you be doing? Perform inside/outside sales for the full range of instrumentation and other equipment offered by WJF. Troubleshoot, instrumentation issues remotely with customers and on-site when needed Perform service and calibration of process control instrumentation such as transmitters, controllers, analyzers and control valves. Performs scheduled preventive maintenance work and complete test and maintenance reports. Rebuilds and calibrates transmitters and control valves; tune controllers. Use testing devices to inspect, diagnose, and repair instruments and systems both in the Calgary office and at customer sites when needed. Reads and interprets instruction manuals, blueprints and control system drawings. Does this sound like you? Have a Journeyperson or Instrumentation Certificate or an Apprentice Instrumentation card. Valid and up-to-date safety tickets: CSTS 2020, H2S Alive and Standard First Aid. AWP, Fall Protection, TDG, WHMIS, and CSO tickets are assets. Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required. Minimum 3-5 years demonstrated success working as an instrumentation technician/inside/outside sales person Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job, including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, bending, twisting, etc. Ability to travel to the USA, UK, and EU for training when required Company Description Why WJF?WJF strives to be known as a customer focused supplier of instrumentation to a wide variety of industries throughout Canada.
