Centres (although not glamorous and you only get one instead of two) are the most important speaker in your home theatre setup. If you can’t hear what they’re saying it ruins the movie experience. In addition for music in 5.1 mode your vocals come out of the centre as well. Don’t sacrifice when it comes to picking one of these out, you’ll be disappointed and end upgrading almost immediately.
Cerwin Vega is a great name and their speakers are known for their loud crisp bass, these centres are all about that. With a rear bass port (most centres don’t have them) the difference is quite noticeable. With the proper crossover, the mid woofers give the perfect amount of midrange for vocals and conversation.
Three of the four grill posts had broken off but the one does hold it on, besides, if you wanted to glue a dowel or dowels to make it work better, that option is open to you.
