1994 BMW Mystic

This 1994 R100R Mystic is one of the rarer BMW motorcycles. Unlike other contemporary models, it has many unique style and performance features. Finished in a unique red metallic, with a black frame, a retro style dashboard, wire-spoke alloy wheels, chrome single muffler and headlight bucket, and with a lower mounted seat accented by coloured body parts and a tail piece. The air-cooled 980cc opposed twin, rated at 60 horsepower, 76Nm of toque, on a bike of 474 pounds with a full tank of gas of 24 litres, BREMBO calipers in front, a drum in rear, Bosch electronics…this bike does not lack for power, performance, or fun. Add-on extras include a café style fairing (has a gelcoat abrasion and 3” crack), heated grips, and BMW touring panniers. Well care for and still in great shape at 89,300 km. Recent maintenance has included oil and filter change, new Battlax tubeless tires (140/80-17 69V BT46 rear and 110/80-18 45V front) and the oil pan gasket replaced. Previous maintenance at 85,000 included new spark plugs, change of bevel drive and gear oil. Has one paint scratch on gas tank. Runs well, though tune up and attention and a brake fluid change needs consideration. Battery last replaced 2016.
