About Me: As a 3x valedictorian, I understand both academic excellence and the skill sets needed to attain it. I have 9 years of tutoring experience working with students, and I have also worked in the school system as an Educational Assistant.
My degree in psychology allows me to work with students by simultaneously assessing their learning styles, academic skills, and emotional needs. I enjoy getting to know the unique personalities of the students I work with and developing genuine connections with them.
My goal as a tutor is to simplify concepts and share ideas in a way that empowers students to believe in their capacity to succeed, even when faced with challenges. One of the most rewarding parts of working with students is witnessing their 'aha moments', when a concept begins to take root for the first time.
