Hi! My name is Heidi and I've been a full-time math tutor in Calgary since 2019. I've helped over 170 students improve their grades in math and sciences, ELA and social studies. Our students see a 10-30% grade increase! Quality is extremely important to me. All of our tutors are some of the best!
We offer one-on-one sessions as well as small-group sessions, online and in-person in Calgary. We follow the Alberta and CBE curriculum and we go through lots of practice questions in our sessions. Every session is customized to suit the student's needs.
Our sessions are very interactive and I get my students involved in solving questions with me. We go through the following during our sessions:
- completing homework / assignment questions
- explaining concepts in detail
- going through lots of practice questions
- answering questions from our students
- making sure our students are on track and are well-prepared for tests
- having fun!

Every one of our tutors have an excellent academic background (minimum 90% in their high school courses and at least an undergraduate degree in the field they tutor in), they are very good at explaining complex concepts to the younger audience, very personable and easy to relate to. Students feel safe asking questions they might be afraid to ask in class. All of our tutors are qualified to teach at the grade 12 level, so the methods that we use will help you succeed into high school and beyond.

$50 per hour. For high school courses, we recommend doing 1.5 hour sessions.
