I'm an experienced Math Teacher with a Masters of Engineering degree from the University Of Calgary with over 10 years of tutoring experience.

I specialize in helping students understand complex problems and concepts by breaking them down into simple steps. I enjoy helping students get a deep understanding of concepts and I've helped them achieve very high marks and get into good university programs including engineering, law and medicine.

My students find that I teach concepts in an easy and understandable way and I always welcome questions. I'm very familiar with the Alberta High School Curriculum and have helped my students to get great marks on the diploma exams as well. I would love to help you get over 90% in your course and get into the University of your choice.

I'm offering Math, Chemistry, Physics and Biology tutoring for high school students in the Alberta Curriculum. The courses I've taught most frequently in my experience are Math 10-1, Math 20-1, Math 30-1, Math 31 and Chemistry 20/30. Having taught high school subjects in Alberta for more than 10 years, I've developed an understanding and appreciation of the challenges students face when working through their high school courses. I personally love math and science courses and enjoy explaining the concepts in these courses in a simple and step-by-step way. I've helped many students who were initially struggling with math and did not like the subject and through my teaching style they were able to drastically improve their grades.

I have a very open and welcoming class atmosphere that encourages asking questions and I help students to understand how to solve complex math and science questions along with developing strategies for problem solving that helps them in exams. Every student has their own unique learning needs and I am able to personalize my teaching to help your child realize their academic potential and to excel in their courses.

I conduct online teaching through Zoom sessions which are easy and convenient to use - I explain concepts on an interactive whiteboard and provide notes to my students at the end of class so that they can focus on my teaching while I explain concepts. Students are able to ask questions and bring assignments to me for feedback so that they can improve and get a stronger understanding of the course material. I also conduct limited in person teaching that you can inquire about; however, in recent years, most of my students have strongly preferred online teaching as it is convenient, and they feel that it provides them with a solid learning environment as well.
