I am a full-time teacher in the HRCE with 3 years of experience, including one full year of working as a Resource Teacher. I’m currently offering tutoring services for Junior High Math and Science, Math at Work 11 and 12, Inquiry Math 10, Science 10, and Canadian History. I am able to meet in person at public libraries or virtually.
I love teaching and having the opportunity to work one-on-one with students.
Prior to diving into the material, I like to spend time getting to know your students, their goals, and their skills and challenges.
I am able to "go back to the basics" and work on foundational skills with your student that might need more practice or general coursework help. This would mean working through concepts being taught that week, going over quizzes and tests, helping with homework and practice problems, etc.
My current rate is $40 per hour, and I have evening availability starting March 20.
