This spacious, contemporary, fully renovated cottage comfortably sleeps up to 7 people in the main cottage, plus for an additional charge, a further 5 people in the apartment above the garage. It has a private sandy beach and large picture windows from which to enjoy the spectacular views over Trout Lake.

The highlights of this glorious property include: • Spacious, bright, modern kitchen/diner with views across the lake and sliding doors to the deck. Dining table (seating 10-12), fully equipped with stove, oven, 2 x fridge freezers, dishwasher and large island with lots of work surface to enjoy the family while prepping, microwave, toaster, coffee maker etc. • Incredible sunroom providing the best views to enjoy the lake from the indoors whatever the weather. It is furnished with another seating area and dining table for meals or games (spoons is the current favourite!) • Living room with 32” flat screen Smart TV/VHS/DVD • Sleeps 7 in 3 bedrooms: Bedroom 1 has queen bed (private deck with view and full bathroom with shower over bath). Bedroom 2 with single bunk bed and twin bed sleeps 3 (with an adjoining shower room). Bedroom 3 on ground floor has double bed with access to small ground floor toilet/shower room. All bedrooms have ample storage • Laundry room including washer and dryer • Bed linen, bath towels and beach towels are included • We have tried to think of everything to make this a home away from home. There’s an outdoor shower behind the garage, 3 kayaks and life jackets, games, night lights, flashlights, and Adirondack chairs all over the property to relax and enjoy the views in comfort • Utilities offered: excellent WiFi/broadband

The separate 2 bedroom apartment is available at an additional cost. It includes a bedroom with double bed, and another bedroom sleeping 3 with single bunk bed and twin bed. We have been renting the property to guests for over 10 years, and many return annually because they have fallen in love with it too!

Situated on Trout Lake, New Albany in Annapolis County, Nova Scotia, inland between Middleton (15 mins) and Bridgewater (50mins), approx. 1 hour 45 minutes from Halifax. The property is near wineries and Lunns Mill brewery, golf courses, and bicycle paths and pick-your-own farms. Whale watching is a phenomenal and worthwhile day trip too!
