Looking for someone to do vocals and contribute to a lo-fi/slowcore recording project I'm thinking of doing. This is mostly to gauge interest on whether I can even get someone to do vocals. I don't have anything recorded as of yet, moreso just ideas.
Quiet, minimal, atmospheric, cinematic etc... this is what I'm going for. Musical inspiration comes from everything from Low, Duster, Beach House, Mac Demarco, Emma Ruth Rundle, basically anything that sounds pretty and is chill, vibey, and pleasant to hear.
Open to female or male vocals, would prefer female but not a deal breaker at all. If you can sing quiet and pretty stuff, and can write lyrics that are cryptic, obscure, profound, you might be the right fit. I don't want to have love songs, or really anything that is obviously about something. Just poetry or nonsense that sounds nice with some reverb soaked chords and atmosphere.
As far as instruments, I mainly play guitar, but also own an electric piano, and have access to bass guitar, and am relatively good with drum programming. Open to a vocalist who can also play instruments as well that might sound good with what we write.
