Things you should know about buying or adopting a pet

While pet sellers can be reputable individuals or breeders who treat their animals well, the ease of selling pets over the Internet also makes it attractive to careless, irresponsible breeders and scammers. To protect yourself, you must be careful and believe only what you see and not what you are told. It is highly recommended to arrange for an inspection of the home where the pets are bred. This allows you to check that the mother and other animals are living in suitable conditions, being well cared for, and are in good health.

Remember that the Kijiji Pets section is NOT intended to facilitate uncontrolled breeding, irresponsible commercial pet trading, trade of dogs or any other animal for the purpose of fighting or stud services. Any ads that are suspected of promoting this kind of activity or reported to us will be removed. Rocky View Bernedoodles dogs are beloved family members first and foremost. All of our breeding dogs either live with us or in a guardian home. All of our puppies are lovingly hand raised in our home.

Our puppies are raised on a combined curriculum heavily influenced by Badass Breeder and Puppy Culture. This includes socialization to adults, children, other dogs and cats as well as a comprehensive program of desensitization to sounds, sights, grooming, handling, and more. Scent introduction is designed to enhance their ability to identify, and react to, specific scents.

We do Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Early Scent Introduction (ESI) and (ENS) beginning when puppies are just 3 days old up to 16 days old and handling exercises until they go home at 8 weeks. We raise our puppies to be confident, touch tolerant and resilient. All ENS, ESI and curriculum is posted on Instagram and our private facebook group so you can see it in action.

We take pride in our program and great care when placing our puppies. We strive at setting all of our puppies up for success when they leave our care to start their new lives and that these puppies will bring a lifetime of joy to their new families.
