I started working out since I was in high school and fell in love with it ever since, training almost every day of the week. I find true fulfillment in sharing my passion and helping others succeed in their fitness journeys. I enjoy discussions with others and giving advice on various topics on strength and muscle building or body weight plateaus, food intake and nutrition, and movement limitations and injuries. I've obtained an abundance of knowledge of the best practices in exercise, nutrition, and corrective movement through my bachelor's in Kinesiology, personal training certifications with Canfitpro and ACE, participation in bodybuilding competitions, and many continuing years of experience from learning from other professional coaches in the industry and constantly applying new knowledge to training my clients and myself. As a trainer of Chinese decent, I am also able to communicate with clients in Cantonese. --------------------------------------------- Coaching style I have a personable, educational, and inquisitive training style where I work with my clients to solve our problem together. My goal is to keep clients educated, motivated and excited about their progress, fostering a supportive and dynamic environment where they can thrive. I'm highly engaged and hands-on with my clients, and love teaching them so they understand why we do things in certain ways. I understand everyone has different needs, preferences, and limitations and design their programs around this. --------------------------------------------- Game plan • I'll design the program style and timeline based on your goals. One example would be increasing cardio and requiring diet intervention on a weekly basis if you're trying to burn more fat to lose 20 pounds in 3 months while maintaining your health optimally. • I specialize in perfecting exercise form as much as possible by identifying any weakness caused from muscle imbalances, lack of muscle activation, stiff and tight joints, and mobility issues. If you have a problem with holding your shoulder out in an overhead position, we'll do our best to identify which muscles are not firing or too tight, and to both work around it and improve its functionality so we no longer have to avoid it. • Over the entire course of the program, we start with proper structural and functional assessments and progress into a more sophisticated and individualized program to optimize it for you. All of this while introducing the most effective exercises while gradually increasing intensity over the span of months. • With this model my clients are always improving incrementally and injury free towards their goals. Many of my clients even feel alleviated from the majority of their muscle and joint tightness issues. Depending on your goals we'll structure our program with varying factors including resistance training style, cardio, corrective movements, and dieting. --------------------------------------------- As a full-time coach, I offer: 1. Periodized program methodology, meticulously designed using macrocycles, mesocycles, and microcycles. This structured approach ensures optimal progress and results tailored to your individual goals and needs 2. 1-on-1 personal training sessions to continually reassess your form and performance. Together, we'll strive to push your boundaries and achieve your goals, ensuring each session is challenging yet manageable for your progress 3. 24/7 text coaching for any program-related questions 4. Detailed individualized workout and meal plans based off of your maintenance calorie intake, joint issues, etc. 5.
