This is an antique wood plane iron cutter blade and chip breaker/cap iron and screw for a wood block planer. The chip breaker or cap iron is marked 'Rob T. Sorby Warranted Cast Steel' with a logo above the writing. The cast steel blade is 5 1/4" long and the cap iron with screw is 7 1/4" long. The set is made of very heavy duty cast steel and ready to be put to use in a planer or added to a collection of antique tools.
