Selling 7 yr old jersey milk cow. DOB Dec 2016. Time to wean my heifer calf. Freshened Oct 15, not yet bred back as I wanted to move calving time from fall to spring. Good to be bred anytime now. She has had either 5 or 6 calves already... my notes from when I bought her say "5 calves" but she was bred at the time and I am not 100% sure now whether this is 5th or 6th calf. I hand milk her, but one hind teat is not ideal for hand milking it is a bit small. Never had mastitis since I have owned her, previous owners said she had no health problems. She is not halter broke, but is a super sweet easy going cow, will go anywhere for grain. Once calf is weaned she will likely be producing 3 1/2 gallons plus a day. Originally came from a jersey dairy. Selling only as our household population keeps decreasing - adult kids keep moving out, and my hubby mainly works in camp now as well...
