We have 3 purebred Black Copper Maran hens who lay beautiful dark brown eggs that are in with our Americanas.
The hens are all fertilized by our Americana rooster (who was from a bluey-green egg), so in theory the hens hatched from these eggs should lay olive colored eggs.
