    Description

Black Tempered night child BMX 21 inch top tube, white cinema tires with black sidewalls. A fiend pivotal seat, black fiend(ing) stem (the part that was holding the S&M trans orange 12 step handlebars). And a blackish/blueish half link chain. I can’t remember what sprocket I had on the FSA 180mm Nasty Boy crankset it was equipped with in left hand drive. The black rims (front female axle) rear was male and obviously once again, left hand drive. I was forced to leave the bike behind at the maple leaf metals/eleniak road skate park on the dead end road, just near the entrance. I just got out of the hospital, I had 2 heart attacks. Literally, that was my first night/morning out with that bike since I ordered all the parts and built it myself. It cost me over 1600$. And for how long it took me to save up that 1600$, I certainly don’t feel as though I got my 1600$ worth out of my dream machine. More so « from point A to B » toy. Anyhow. Unsure if someone was kind enough to hold onto it for me in my darkest hour, or if it was just left there for any rando to just take as their own with no intentions of letting it ever reunite with its rightful owner. And no, sorry I don’t have the serial number nor did I register it on bike index. Like I said, I literally JUST BUILT IT the night before and was out on my test drive. And I burnt out, literally, because I was so far from home and fought the wind the whole way uphill. I’m embarrassed enough even posting this lost and found add in hopes of potentially retrieving my bike. But, if I don’t try, my odds go from 25% to absolutely NIL. I don’t have spare parts, or a backup bike and I’m on a ridiculously puny budget. So my fingers are crossed that it’s currently in good hands, with a person who possesses at least even the smallest bit of empathy. I’d even be willing to pay a reward to whosoever may have it, so long as, aside from the minor fire damage, that the bike is still the same bike I built and not completely wrecked or unrideable. Not only is that my means of transportation but it’s my gym and social circle vehicle of choice. Fingers crossed anyhow, I’m not perfect and I can’t expect the rest of the world to be. But I do still, every now and again, get surprised by the fact that there ACTUALLY still happens to be a couple handfuls of decent human beings out there, even more so that still have their souls. So, if you’re the Good Samaritan that’s holding onto it in hopes in its owner tracking it down, well, I’m alive and out of the hospital. Just with a broken rib cage from CPR. If you’re a rando that ended up with my bike and haven’t stripped the living life out of it and would like to make over 100$ reward, here I am, eagerly awaiting a time and place to go pick it up and drop off the cash reward. If it’s been stripped, parts changed, etc, then most likely I’ll count my losses as I’m already and have already basically accepted as being the current fact of the matter because I seen how much people care about people here when I got ran down in a hit and run off my bike 3 years ago and watched and waited for about the 5th car to drive by to slow down, stop and ask if I was ok or needed help. As if the pretzel shape is been left obliterated in and the fact I couldn’t even move any body part but my left hand on the hot Canada Day ashphalt on whyte ave just a couple blocks off of 50th street wasn’t a dead giveaway that I needed help. It sure was an eye opener of where I should set my standards of expectations when it comes to compassion or empathy coming from other humans who aren’t already overly consumed by the horrible day they seem to believe they’re having. If I learnt a thing or two about gratitude, that’s the day I learnt the most. That and it most certainly was a personal lesson or refresher on karma. Although, for once, I don’t feel as though karma had a reason to do me in as it did that morning. But it did, so I might have to do some in depth soul searching and assessment of my life and where I may have went wrong in recent times to have possibly deserved for this incident to have taken place. That or it literally was just pure coincidence, which I absolutely do Not Beleive in being even remotely close to a plausible possibility. Thank you if you are the person that may by chance have been so kind to have saved my bike from the clutches of someone who would never appreciate the money time or effort I put into SAVING that money with the half day of fine tuning and building it into what it was before this FUBAR’d incident. Please, just send me a message, we can arrange an appointment or something. If it’s still out there waiting and whoever had a big enough heart to hang onto it, you’ve NO IDEA how incredibly grateful I am and APPRECIATIVE. I’m pretty much a loaner, no family here and not much more for friends, I can count them on one hand, so, this bike means the world to me. Because even, without a bike, it makes hanging out with my friends somewhat difficult and cumbersome for them. And I’m not a bike thief, so there was a lot of pride of ownership that went with this build and the make and model was supposed to be a reflection of my own personality over the past decade. Long story short, I rode the bike not even for 8 hours, that was its first night/morning out following the build completion, I saved money for 4 months and waited a month for all the parts to arrive to be able to build it all at once. I spared no expense and bought EXACTLY the parts that I had intended to put on this bike. So it’s basically my world, my social life, my gym and reason to give a hoot about anything. Not to mention I’m getting evicted from my home of 17 months for being « antisocial »……because I’m trying to break free from the demographic of homelessness in which the last decade of my life pretty much has been. And just to complicate having to move out and find another place for the end of may and damage deposit out of nowhere, total surprise, for the next to nothing I already am the owner of and hardly anything I possess that needs to be moved, my means of moving anything, including myself and my fake knee/hip I had to get replaced from the hit n run, but now without the speed and stealth and serenity of riding quietly, bearing the loads from point a to b, now it’s likely going to be a loud, obtrusive and annoying shopping cart or 2 move or 1 cart and several brain rattling trips of everyone’s favorite midnight move making noise machine
