Herding breed dogs (and others too) can have particular struggles and we have some very special games for them!
There is NO livestock involved in this workshop but the games you’ll learn will help managing your dog better around other animals and distractions in general.
The concepts of DISENGAGEMENT & IMPULSE CONTROL are important skills for herding dogs as well as THINKING IN AROUSAL.
How about a “lie down” at a distance? Or calling off a moving distraction? … and there is so much we can teach with Whip Games too … just to name a few.
