Job Description:Job Description Canadian Executive Search Group (USA) is currently seeking a Controls & Automation Engineer for an Automotive Manufacturing client in the Ontario area. Location: Kingsville, OntarioSchedule: Steady Day Shift Schedule Compensation: $70k-$80k Responsibilities:Disciplinary and/or functional management of employeesResponsible for managing the standardized machine interface within the plantManaging the access rights for remote access to equipment in the plantManaging the access points for the energy management system as per the CU guidelines andwhile working in close coordination with the Quality and Facility departmentsAssisting and advising the production areas regarding automation projects (e.g. procurementof new equipment or replacement of existing equipment)Modifying machines as per the “Machine Modification Process” and in compliance withstatutory regulationsIdentifying the need for training within the team, and planning and execution of the necessarytraining sessionsChecking that SAP-PM/OPRA are being used correctly in the team (e.g. work order processing,bookings)Assisting the maintenance employees in case of machine breakdowns, in particular withprogramming skillsAssisting with CIP activities (e.g. synchronizing robot movements)Advising the Industrial Engineering team on any automation matters during the equipmentspecification phase Those interested are encouraged to send resumes directly to carmen@canadianexecutivesearch.com CESDH
