Marketing Manager Wanted

Reports to: President and CEO - TruHous Media

About the Job: TruHous Media has a terrific self starting opportunity for an individual looking to get into the media world as a marketing manager. This position is ideal for marketing/communications students looking to build a portfolio of work or continue to grow with us under a wide variety of opportunities on a part time or full-time basis.

The ideal candidate will creatively focus on the following areas.

Create Marketing Campaigns Responsible for marketing current/upcoming events in a strategic way on our social media platforms and other methods such as but not limited to, newsletters, website, word of mouth etc to draw in viewers, subscribers and potential sponsors to our various platforms. Assists with master scheduling as required.

Sponsorships, Advertising and Premium Subscriptions Responsible for seeking sponsorship, media advertising, and developing long-term brand partnerships while using existing materials as a guideline. Creating proposals and working one on one with our partners. Making sure that all sponsorship goals are met or exceeded in a timely manner. Help manage and sell subscriptions to our premium content at predetermined prices.

Work with the President and CEO to determine other such related packages as required on a case by case basis including but not limited to promotions to attract new sales.promotions.

What we need from you: -> High School Diploma -> Marketing/Communications or related area of study is considered a strong asset. -> Strong work ethic

Self motivated -> Ability to work independently/as a team and with confidential information. -> A valid driver's license is considered an asset but is not necessarily required. -> Time to attend at minimum weekly 1 on 1 staff meetings to discuss progress on projects or any new ideas.

Compensation will be handled on a case by case basis but is mostly commission based.
